Hier ist ein weiterer roter MB 30. Im Gegensatz du dem ebenfalls in der Auktion befindlichen, unter Auktions-Nummer A005B, ist dieser jedoch nicht so gut erhalten. Außerdem hat dieser nicht den MB Tropfen-Clip, sondern den ebenfalls üblichen Riffel-Clip.

Um die Unterschiede in der Erhaltung besser zu erkennen, empfehle ich auch die Beschreibung der anderen Auktion hinzuzuziehen..

Der MB 30 ist eines der größten Meisterstücke seiner Zeit und sehr selten zu finden. Er stammt aus Dänischer Produktion, erkennbar an der Aufschrift Masterpiece und dem Riffel-Clip.

Die Farbe von Schaft und Kappe ist etwas unterschiedlich, wie man auf einem Foto auch erkennen kann. Die Kappe zeigt außerdem eine leichte Farbabweichung unterhalb des Clips. Der große Stern ist nicht rein weiß, aber insgesamt schön. Der umliegende Kappenkopf aus Hartgummi ist etwas verfärbt und zeigt einen halbkreisförmigen Kratzer. Außerdem ist die umlaufende Riffelung weitgehend wegpoliert. Zwei kleine Haarrisse an der Kappenlippe wurden fachmännisch chemisch stabilisiert. Der Clip ist in hervorragendem und die Ringe sind in gutem Zustand. Die Kapppeninschrift ist sehr gut lesbar.

Am Schaft finden sich unterhalb des Druckmechanismus eine spinnenwebenähnliche Zeichnung im roten Material, die nur sehr schwer auszupolieren ist. Die Gefahr eines Materialbruches besteht aber nicht. Es handelt sich also um eine rein optische Erscheinung. Die Schaftinschrift ist dünn und teilweise unlesbar. Die schwarzen Hartgummi-Enden sind nur leicht verfärbt und mit klaren Imprints "30 und EF" am Füllknopf

Die Oberfläche ist überwiegend frei von Kratzern und glänzen. Alle Teile sind original. Schöne große 4810 Meisterstück-Feder mit geringen Polier-Spuren. Hat einen neuen Schlauch erhalten und ist voll funktionstüchtig und schreibbereit. 

Nicht der nahezu perfekte Pen aus der anderen Auktion. Aber insgesamt doch in einem besseren Zustand als es vielleicht zunächst scheinen mag. In jedem Fall ein seltenes Meisterstück für die fortgeschrittene MB-Sammlung, aber auch zum Schreiben geeignet.

Here is another red MB 30. But it is not in same nearly perfect condition like auction # A005B. Furthermore this has the usual fluted clip, not the teardrop clip.

The MB 30 is one of the largest Masterpieces from his time and very rare to find. It is from Danish production, recognizable by inscription "Masterpiece" and the clip.

The colour of cap and barrel is little different, as to see at the pictures. Furthermore the cap with a little discoloration beneath the clip. The large star is not perfectly white, but overall beautiful. The black captop is little discolored and shows a scratch like a circle and is almost polished smooth round the top. A few caplip hairlines were professional chemical stabilized. The clip is in beautiful condion and the caprings are good. Cap inscription is very good readable.

At the barrel below the pushbutton is a "drawing" like a spiderweb in the red material, which is hard to remove by polishing. But no risk of breaking the barrel. It is an optical phenomenon only. The barrel inscription is faint and partially unreadable. The black hard rubber ends are only slight discolored and with clear imprints "30 and EF" at the pushbutton.

Surface is almost free of scratches and glossy. All parts

Masterpiece nib with slight signs of polish only. Has got a new sac and is full working and ready to write.

Not the nearly perfect pen from the other auction. But overall in better condition you may expect at a first impression. In any case a rare Masterpiece for the advanced MontBlanc collection, but as a writer as well.
