Besonderheiten - Particularities	Exellenter, fast neuwertiger Diamond Point Hebelfüller in ungewähnlicher Färbung. Eine entsprechende Farbe konnte ich in der Literatur nicht finden. Ich würde sie mit bronze and pearl beschreiben. Sie erinnert mich auch etwas an die Farbe Moss-agate der Waterman Patricians. Schwierig zu beschreiben und leider auch auf den Bildern nicht richtig zu erkennen. Die Form fand ich ebenfall nirgendwo abgebildet. Ich schätze den Produktionszeitraum auf etwa Anfang bis Mitte der 30er Jahre ein. Bei Lambrou FPOTW auf de n Seiten 24/25 sind leider nur Flat-Top Diamond Points abgebildet. Dort ist sinngemäß nachzulesen, daß die Firma um die Jahrhundertwende entstanden ist und im Jahre 1921 umbenannt wurde in NEW Diamond Point Pen Company mit Sitz in New York City. Dort wurden qualitativ hochwertige Füllhalter in prächtigen Farbkombinationen. In den späten 30er und 40er Jahren wurden die Worte NEW und POINT auf dem Clip durch ein Diamanten-Symbol ersetzt. Daher ist klar, daß dieser Halter vorher hergestellt wurde. Es ist wichtig festzuhalten, daß die Firma nichts mit den Chicgoer Herstellern Diamond Medal, Gold Medal oder Gold Bond zu tun hatte. Exellenter Zustand. Glänzende Oberfläche, fast keine Gebrauchs- oder Altersspuren erkennbar. Keinerlei Farbunterschiede an Schaft und Kappe. Schlauch ist intakt und Füller ist schreibbereit. Original flexible 14 Karat Warranted Nr. 2 Feder. Stärke M Ein sonst ähnlicher Diamond Point Flat-Top Halter in black and creme wird bei G.Bowen, 11. Auflage, Farbtafeln Seite 4 Nr. 34 bereits 1996 mit einem Wert von 250 US Dollars angegeben. Selten zu finden, besonders in Europa.	Excellent to near mint Diamond Point lever filler in unusual color. I could not find this color in pen books. So I would name it bronce and pearl. But it is also a little like Moss-agate of the Waterman Patricians. Difficult to describe and hard to see from the pix too. And I was unable to find thd shape of this pen in pen books. So I estemate it from early to mid of 30s. In Lambrous FPOTW on pages 24/25 unfortunately are flat-top pens shown only. Lambrou wrote, that the company started at the turn of the century. In 1921 it was renamed as the New Diamond Point Pen Company. They made fine quaity lever filler in a stunning array of plastic colour combinations. During the late 1930s and early 1940s the word NEW and POINT on the clip were replaced with the DIAMOND. So this pen must be manufactured before. It is worth mentioning, that this company hand no connections with the Chicago contingent: Diamond Medal, Gold Medal, Gold Bond etc. Excellent condition. Glossy surface, almost no signs of use or age visible. No differences in color at cap and barrel. Sac is working and pen is ready to write. Original flexible 14 carat No.2 Warranted nib. Size M An otherwise somewhat similar Flat-Top pen in black and cream on color tables page 4, no.34 in Glen Bowens "Collectible Fountain Pens" 11th edition had already 1996 a estimated value of USD 250.
