This representative Platinum Commemorative Edition for the Millennium is limited to only 300 numbered pens worldwide. Platinum is an 81 year old Japanese manufacturer of fine writing instruments. From the initially two variations of this pen the one with a small inlaid gold plate for initialing is already sold out completely. Enter-Net has the worldwide exclusive rights to sell the remaining pens of the second variation. This Edition has not been offered before officially throughout Europe.

More than one year of designer work has been put into this exclusive Collectors piece. The pens are made solely with the best materials and with more than 80 years of experience in pen manufacturing by master craftsmen. The pen is made of 10-sided Black chased hard rubber. This material is also known by collectors under the name of "EBONITE" and has been used by Platinum since 1920. The 10-sided material has certain warmth and invites for writing.

All trim is heavy 24K gold-plated. The middle part of the cap girdle is platinum colored and shows the words " PLATINUM Y2K-2000" in gold-plated high relief in remembrance of the Millennium. A two-color nib made of 18K (750) gold enhances the valuable looks of the pen. Nibs are handmade today the same as when the company was founded in 1919. The nib is engraved: "PLATINUM - Y2K - 18K", plus nib size M or B.

The fountain pen comes with a luxury wooden case with velvet liner. Including the original AD2000 inkbottle, converter and cartridge. So the pen can be filled either with cartridge or with converter and bottled ink.

Available nib sizes are M and B. Please be advised, that these nib sizes are Japanese, they tend to be one degree finer than European sizes. So the size M tends to our size F and the size B tend to our size M.

The pens are shipped directly from Platinum Pens USA to the customer after payment has reached Enter-Net. Platinum USA also covers all warranties.
