Die kleine Kamera (zusammengeklappt 10 x 4,5 x 2 cm) ist optisch und technisch in sehr gutem Zustand! An den Kanten des Gehäuses ist die Farbe abgeschabt, auch ansonsten weist sie normale Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Kamera ist ~ 90! Jahre alt! Das Objektiv ist klar und ohne Kratzer (Das Objektiv weist keine Hersteller-Bezeichnung auf. Auch die Kamera hat keine exakte Typenbeschreibung. Auf Grund der Negativgröße wurde sie als ENSIGNETTE Anastigmat No. 1 identifiziert. Laut Katalog ist diese Kamera mit einem Tessar 6,8 / 75 mm bestückt.) Der Verschluß funktioniert bei den beiden Einstellungen I und B gut, bei der Einstellung T schließt sich der Verschluß durch zurückstellen des Verschlußzeitenhebels auf B wieder. Die Verschlußzeit I wurde nicht überprüft. Das Kameragehäuse und die Frontplatte bestehen aus Metall. An der Frontplatte sind der Auslöser, der Wahlhebel für die Belichtungszeit und ein weiterer kleiner Hebel, der als eine Art Stativ funktioniert, angebracht. Direkt am Objektiv befindet sich noch ein Drehknopf für die Wahl der Blende. Der kleine Balgen ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Der Sucher ist hell und klar. Das innere der Kamera ist ebenfalls in gutem Zustand, eine leere Filmspule befindet sich in der Kamera. An der abnehmbaren Rückwand befindet sich ein rotes Filmfenster. Die HOUGHTON ENSIGNETTE ist auf Grund ihrer geringen Ausmaße und des ungewöhnlichen Designs als sehr sammelnswerte Kamera anzusehen. Noch Fragen? Auktion@enter-net.de. The small camera (folded 10 x 4,5 x 2 cm) is optical and technical in very good condition. There is some paint missing on the edges of the body, all in all there are normal signs of use. The camera is ~ 90 years old! The lens is clear without scratches (There is no name on the lens. The camera has no exact type name, too. Because of the film measures, I identified it as ENSIGNETTE Anastigmat No. 1. My camera catalog says, this camera has the Tessar 6,8 / 75 mm.) The simple shutter works at the two settings "I" and "B" very well. At the setting "T", the shutter closes, of you put the lever for the shutter settings back to "T". Shutter accuracy "I" was not tested. The camera body and the frontplate are made of metal. On the frontplate there is the shutter, the lever for the shutter settings and another small lever which you can use like a small tripod. Around the lens there is a switch ring for the diaphraghm settings. The small bellows are in very good condition. The viewfinder is bright. The inner is in good condition, too. There is an empty film spool in it. On the removable back is the small red filmwindow. Because of it´s unusual design and the extremly small measures, this ENSIGNETTE is a rare find for any collector. Any questions? Auction@enter-net.de
