Die Kamera ist für ihr alter optisch in sehr gutem Zustand, technisch gibt es gute und schlechte Teile. Das Objektiv ist klar, die Blende funktioniert aber sie kann nicht so weit geschlossen werden, wie es normalerweise funktioniert. Die kleinste Blendenöffnung ist ca. 1,5cm. Es scheint, daß einige Lamellen der Blende fehlen. Um das Objektiv heraus oder hinein zu schrauben, muß man den Sperrhebel an der rechten Seite (vom Benutzer aus gesehen) drücken. Der Verschluß funktioniert bei den Einstellungen B, Z und den anderen Einstellungen, die Genauigkeit konnte aber nicht überprüft werden. Der Verschluß ist nicht lichtdicht. Der Spiegel weist einge Stellen auf , an denen die Beschichtung fehlt, das Sucherbild ist aber dennoch hell. Der aufklappbare Sucher hat eine integrierte Lupe. Das Innere der Kamera ist in gutem Zustand, das kleine rote Filmfenster hat keine Risse. Die Kamera hat die #416774, das Objektiv die #273304. Ein Problem ist das Zeitrad für die langen Belichtungszeiten. Manchmal bewegt es sich, manchmal nicht. Aber in jedem Fall: so bald man das Zeitrad benutzt, funktionieren die anderen Belichtungszeiten, die man mit dem kleinen Einstellrad neben dem Spannknopf einstellen kann, nicht mehr. Man kann den Spannknopf drehen aber der Transportmechanismus funktioniert dann nicht mehr und der Spiegel klappt nicht hoch. Ich habe zwar herausgefunden, wie man es doch wieder benutzen kann aber es ist kompliziert. Also, am Besten man läßt die Finger vom Zeitrad oder läßt die Kamera reparieren! Vielleicht hilft ja schon ein Tropfen Öl? Ich weiß es nicht. Die Exakta B ist optisch eine sehr schöne Kamera und sicher auch ein interessantes Modell für Sammler. The camera is optical in very good condition for it´s age, technical there are good and bad parts. The lens is clear with no scratches, the diaphragm works but it cannot be closed as far as it should do. The smallest aperture opening is about 1,5cm. It seems, that some lamellas of the iris are loss. For turning the lens in and out you must press the lens locking on the users right side. The shutter works on B, Z and the other settings, accuracy was not tested. The curtain is not lighttight. The mirror has some parts where the coating is gone but the view is still bright. The flap-off viewfinder has an integrated folding magnifier. The inner of the camera is in good condition, the small red film window has no cracks. The camera has the # 416774, the lens has #273304. A problem is the timer for the long time exposures. Sometimes the timer makes noises, some times not. But in any case: as soon as you use the timer, the shutter settings didn´t work any longer. They are no longer adjustable by the small switchring near the winder. You can use the knob-winder but the film transportation works not and the mirror will not be moved. I found the trick how to use the other settings again but it is complicated. So, don´t use the timer or let it repair by a professional! Perhabs a droplet of oil would help? I don´t know. The EXAKTA B is a real nice camera for display and a very interesting modell for the collector. Unfortunately it is not for use. Any questions?
