What are the advantages of an Internet Auction?
Different pens will be delivered regularly from different periods and different manufacturers. You can sit comfortably in front of your computer and with a mouse click you can select an item and form an exact impression of it with the help of the picture and the additional description.

How do I know the appropriate price?
Everyone who wants to buy something has to accept the price the seller is asking. Or not, if you think the price is too high. In an auction you decide essentially how much you are willing to pay for an item. Every item starts with a minimum price, which will be in most cases much lower than the actual market price of this item. You bid an amount of money, which seems appropriate to you. Supply and demand will have a more direct influence on the price than buying retail. If a rare or special item is offered, possibility is high, that bids from many buyers will come in raising the price of the item significantly. On the other hand you have the satisfaction, that you just paid little more than other interested buyers. You also may have the opportunity this way to buy an item for less than market value.

What happens if the item does not fit the description?
Every writing instrument will be pictured. In addition there will be a short description showing the condition of the item. If the item differs from the description, the high bidder has the right to send it back in between three days after receipt and gets the full money back. The item may not be altered!

How do I know that I am the high bidder?
We will try to do one or two updates every workday with the actual high bid. This way every interested buyer can see the actual state of a certain item. If an update fails caused by force majeure we will catch up on it as soon as possible. No legal action possible.

How long does the auction last?
The auction starts the moment someone gives the first bid on the start price. Further bids are visible on the web page. If there is no new bid for the next update, the item gets the addition "Going". Next time "Going, Going". If meanwhile a new bid comes in, the addition is erased and the turn starts from the beginning. The seller has the possibility to send one proxy-bid once. If still no new bid comes in, the award is documented with the addition "Going, Going, Gone!" The item goes to the high bidder . He/She will be notified via eMail. Shipping will be done once a week after payment arrived.

Do I have additional costs?
In addition to the award price the buyer has to pay the mailing cost. Throughout Germany mailing cost will be DM 12.- (in Europe DM 18, worldwide DM 28) in general regardless of the amount of items. We also charge DM 20 per item with a maximum of DM 50 per package. All shipping risks are at the sellers side, if not otherwise posted.

Is my address published to the Web?
With your registration you have the opportunity to decide, whether your eMail address will be shown or just your registration number. In the latter case your bid will be treated confidentially.
